"Still a mystery"
sadly, my birthday month is over and as always, it was fabulous.
rockin' in chicago at lollapalooza, lunches, dinners, happy hours and a
trip to Hershey Park in PA... do i have awesome friends, or what?! :)
btw,
i still don't know who sent me the mystery orchids on my birthday. of
course, i tried to figure out who it was by calling the sender, but
that information is "confidential," they said. hmmm... and then
yesterday, i got a strange message on my voice mail. basically,
someone just called to play that Frankie Valli song, "Sherry Baby"... you know the one, please don't start singing it! so now, i'm a little weirded out cuz i don't know who it is. this person (if it's the same one, gosh i don't even want to think about if these are two different people!) clearly knows my birthday, my home address and my home phone number, but obviously does not know that i hate that song!
ok, maybe hate is a strong word. but do you know how many times i've heard that song whenever i introduce myself to someone? it just gets old, i guess.
anyway
enough. i need to hit the road to VB for the rock n roll tomorrow.
everyone please pray for clear skies! i really don't want to run in
the rain!!!
